headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ardent was incorporated in 1988 and for the past 20 years has been engaged in the exploration,
development, production and sale of oil and gas, primarily in the Appalachian Basin. Core areas of operation include Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia and Ohio.
Ardent's corporate strategy is to expand its proved reserves and
production through a combination of exploratory and development drilling. To that end, we have acquired and maintain substantial freehold lease
positions in many of the most active plays in the Basin. We take pride in generating solid prospect ideas, in realizing those ideas (with proven
success), by cultivating joint venture participation, and by operating in a cost effective and environmentally sound manner.
